But my guess is that those who do have them are smarter than the sheep that saw the One's UI and came all over themselves. Guess what? On an HTPC you don't have to pay a fee to use Netflix, Amazon Instant, ESPN, HBOGo, Hulu or any other website you can stream off of... or the damn web browser

You bring up HTPC like the majority of media consumers own them to the point where Xbox One is launching in a losing effort. As if borrowing qualities from an HTPC isn't improving the Xbox experience. Yea, some of the best features previewed today are HTPC related, and? Are we supposed to build/buy them instead? The irony lies in the fact this same argument can be had with the PS4, which makes this whole shyt moot since the only reason an HTPC was brought up was to discredit the Xbox One and carry on this console war.

The irony is, MS has been going towards media/internet apps/TV functionality with their consoles for the past few years.

That's what their focus is, I'm pointing out that there are better alternatives to what MS is pitching.
