Nintendo and Sony are gonna be universal constants in the gaming space from here on out as long as it exists.....there is room for a 3rd competitor tho.

As crazy as it sounds Apple could fill that 3rd spot with the right exclusives and competitive hardware :mjpls:

I dont think theres enough developers to even go around anymore to make a big enough impact unless Apple grab EA/Take Two/Epic, etc.

I think they are gonna continue to focus on Apple Arcade and the new IMac’s, which make them a pretty considerably amount of money right now. I’m not sure how they get into the living room

The OS is already there.

They have the goodwill from the consumer as far as build quality goes.

They have the money to do damn near anything Microsoft can.

A $600-$800 dedicated gaming machine from Apple could work....It doesnt even need to be a traditional console think something like the ROG Ally but with iOS on it....ppl paying twice that for a damn phone right now :heh:

All I'm saying is that 3rd spot can be lucrative, Apple would be crazy if they haven't at least thought about it. That brand carries weight

You’re not wrong, the fact that gaming companies are selling handhelds for 700 dollars now means its definitely possible

Surely being a publisher is better business decision. Put all your games on every console and get that money.
