So you gonna pretend like for the last almost 5 years on this forum, that me and a few others haven't been saying MS main focus will no longer be to sale the most consoles? Because since 2018 I've clearly been saying thats the direction I've seen them trending towards. It doesn't matter what *you* personally can/cannot get. It matters to the people buying what Sony is offering. The standards they set matters. MS set the standard where you don't need their hardware. That matters. No one is looking at the Xbox and saying, I need an Xbox series X because MS introduced Xbox live in 2002 or because of a fukking gamerscore. None of that shyt matters to real people. Nobody gives a shyt about who did what first on a mainstream level. That's fanboy list-wars shyt. What is the selling point for the Xbox today? And why should people choose it over what the competition is offering?
You still ain't tell me what PlayStation offers that people can't get anywhere else? Ill wait on that answer, maybe it'll come to you in 8 months to a year like their 1st party titles come to PC.
And as far as not caring about what they've done, you the one talking about Xbox did nothing and have no identity. Then when I list a few things it's all of a sudden it's fanboy and console war fodder that doesn't matter Meanwhile Xbox is still known as the "FPS" console, it lost the WRPG title but it'll have that back soon as well.
I Everytime hardware sales and 1st party sales are brought up. Xbox hardware will never go away as long as the higher ups stick to this roadmap they have and eventually Sony gonna reach a point of diminishing return (If they haven't already, which I suspect they have) themselves and be in the same boat as Xbox if they don't start to pivot to other things besides the hundred million dollar games and hardware sales.
You might as well look at Xbox and game pass as synonymous from here on out
