What’s funny about this is it’s absolutely backwards.
Series S/X still selling better than 360 right now.
It was the Kinect that actually pushed 360 to great sales later in its life.
Without the Kinect xbox has sold pretty much the same each gen.
Only thing that’s changed is the narratives you clowns tell yourselves

It's really as simple as it's just more popular, especially currently.
When people think video games, they typically think Nintendo, and PlayStation 1st. They are established. It's a similar situation with shoe brands, for the average person they get Nikes over Adidas, pumas or rebooks strictly because they are Nikes.
Doesn't mean the others aren't selling, or as good.
Overall Xbox biggest issue is it's image. All brands that stick around go through it though Magnavox, Sony, Panasonic, Toshiba were the go to Brands for Tvs in the 90s and early 2000.
Now It's LG, Vizio, Samsung and Sony.
Samsung and apples back and forth with phones is a good example of what Sony is Xbox should look like eventually providing neither collapse or bend the knee.
It's a lot of doom and gloom perpetuated by certain folks, console sales on Xbox will/should always be lower than Sony and Nintendo overall with games and gamepass being on PC day and date and xcloud access.

You typed all that to essentially say “playstation is more popular than xbox” lol no shyt
Cause yall swore for the last two years that console and pc are not in competition and that putting games on pc day one wouldn’t hurt console sales. Yall got gassed by those early covid numbers and thought the day one release wouldn’t make a difference. Thats why we always laughed about xbox not having exclusives, because they don’t and it’s reflected in how little consoles they are now selling. Thats why we always said it was stupid for sony to do day 1 pc releases.
You can say what you want about sony delaying their first party games for pc but most people are just not gonna wait. Sony has the better 1st party release strategy because they read the market properly. This is what Microsoft lacks, a proper vision.
It’s the same reason why Nintendo would never put their games pc.
There’s a difference. Corporations and schools will buy those laptops and tablets. They serve a real and tangible purpose. Xbox is just Xbox.
