Yep, Microsoft has put in almost no effort in growing the brand beyond the US and UK
And now even those two territories are starting to diminish

Not only that, but every single other multi million/billion dollar company has failed trying to get into the hardware side of the gaming market because 1 company has a lead worldwide.
Sounds like a monopoly to me.
But maybe it's just everyone else messing up, and not Sony.
Also Xbox ain't going no where unless new leadership comes around in the future or it absolutely bleeds while not contributing anything, which isn't happening

For a long time Brazil was this big booming territory for xbox because of how cheap the series s was, they put in a good amount of effort marketing in South America. Then Microsoft raised all their game prices on steam and doubled the price of the series s and now this is what its looking like….

All you're doing is making excuses for the trillion dollar company. There are no monopolistic practices being used by Sony to prevent MS from selling a lot of consoles. It's just that nobody wants them. And that's Microsoft's fault. They made their hardware obsolete by releasing everything day-and-date elsewhere in an effort to accelerate the industry to a service-only model. And I am hoping that accelerates their exit from gaming, because they're a blight.

Nintendo offers something you can't get elsewhere. Sony does the same. Both companies have an identity. It's why their systems compliment each other. The Xbox doesn't have an identity. The Xbox doesn't serve any purpose. It only represents Microsoft's desire for total control of another industry.
