to all the people who were smart enough to see this coming and who bought PS4s in 2013/2014.
everything rides on halo 5... i will likely buy an xbox one for it... if it comes through and proves to be the best fps multiplayer game... xbox will win this year
I'm interested in Halo 5 too. I was hoping for a Gears of War Sequel of some sort, but I would still play the remaster.
To be honest the Japanese gaming business as been dead since the 7th gen. Lame American games my ass.... America/West controls the gaming business now.

Yeah, but it would have to be really fukking good. Because the hype/marketing machines is right behind Battlefront and Black Ops 3 right now, which will have a much bigger mindshare with people cus they're multiplatform. So Halo 5 would have to be so good that reviews and word of mouth punch right through the Black Ops 3 / Battlefront hype. I played the Halo 5 beta, and it was dope, but after Halo 4 and MCC, it's hard to get super excited just yet for Halo 5.
Win what exactly? It won't be sales.
And 343i doesn't have the best track record so far with the Halo games they've done
Nah. Besides a few big western series, some of the biggest titles people look forward to are Japanese.

Tekken
Final fantasy
Kingdom hearts
Smash Bros
Jrpgs such as Persona
In America, maybe. But all over the world? Nobody gives a shyt about Halo here in Asia
. The only relevant title here are Japanese IPs such as Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Final Fantasy, Tekken, Castlevania. I don't know anyone who copped 360 because of Halo or Queers of War.
Why are people pretending the Xbox was ever really messing with Playstation like that? Sony did everything they could to tank their brand last generation and the best the Xbox could do was basically a tie. The generation before that it was 100+ million to like 22 million. Xbox was never really competitive with Playstation. Anybody telling you different on some BS.

Changing the goal post!??? Who the hell bought up Halo???? I was saying in general the Western/American gaming market is larger and more dominate than the current Japanese market.
And if we are going to be fair the American gaming market is WAAAY larger than Japanese/Asian one. So Halo not being popular in Asia doesnt even matter... Why do you think the 360 was able to survive without Japan?
The only one of the list I personally care for. Again me personally, is Metal Gear Solid 5...
