To be fair since I’m neutral Xbox has been pushing play anywhere for at least the last 5 years
It seemed like shyt was sinking before ABK and the deal saved them from dying.
This is laughable. As Microsoft progresses further and further into selling games on other hardware Game Pass will make less and less sense.Gamepass will be ubiquitous on all types of platforms including sony and nintendo ones.

Game Pass is inexorably tied to Xbox hardware sales and making their games more accessible on other hardware means less reasons for people to invest in Xbox hardware and less Game Pass subs.
Sony and Nintendo aren't going to let Microsoft seed subscription sales on their hardware. Nadella seems to want to focus on what the company is best at which is being a software creator. Unfortunately for them their software slate isn't appealing enough to keep their hardware relevant so that means a long term transition into being a 3rd party.
It was a wrap when Nadella got Game Pass subs removed from his bonus metrics. Long term their current trajectory will end up phasing Game Pass out. With the most recent changes to the service they've already started.
court been trying to get yall ready for a xbox less future. Paris is the only guy too thats been trying to get xbox warm on not having games exclusive to xbox.
recent gamepass growth has been everywhere else outside of xbox.
