Only thing this thread has proven to me is that @The Mad Titan and others treat xbox as its side hoe console. They spend the least amount of money there, and even things that are considered good “value” they look for even cheaper ways to avoid paying full price for it.

They gladly spend full price on games on nintendo and sony platforms though. I mean, its fine to not want to spend a bunch of money on xbox, smart even, but it kind of proves its the bargain console even to hardcore stans

Honestly with them Microsoft buying Call of Duty I knew it was the beginning of the end of what we know of them in console space. All this these buying of publishers was more of a push to leverage their services to the competition. At the end of the day they want gamepass to be on everything like how windows is with different computer hardware manufacturers.

Yeah, it's a weird thing to be happy about when Sony just raised PS+ by 30%, and would be able to raise it even more in that type of environment. You can dislike Microsoft, but as a consumer you shouldn't want Sony to have a monopoly. Also, if Microsoft goes the only company I can see taking their place is Apple, which could make things interesting if there's a play anywhere type of feature that lets you play games you own on your phone, console, and Macs

So it wouldn’t be a monopoly. It would be one failed platform exiting and another taking its place, thats capitalism, thats competition. Yall just dont like when one side is clearly not offering real competition.

Its not a charity, microsoft has to make something people want to buy in order to be competitive.
