nah, in generations past the consoles usually had an edge for a while (1 year or so)Isn't that always the case, and you shouldn't be comparing a rebranded closed system GPU to a PC GPU anyway
Its just showing how things are changing in the gaming space. Been a couple of years now, but if I remember correctly the PC really didn't start shytting on this console cycle till about 2007...that's a year+. It might not be the case this time because of how pc gaming has come back

which ps3 exclusive was assassin creed like? What about bioshock? Mass effect? Fallout? Skyrim? Call of duty?
Man even gears 1 was cool but that clunky ass game got marked by uncharted 2 gameplay wise and ain't been right since. There cover system was cool until uncharted came out. I literally don't see how you can play a game like assassin's creed two and not see the ps influence from asc 1 . Look at games like far cry 3 Max Payne fukking tomb raider and how can you not see elements of ps exclusive influences to make there campaign more epic. PlayStation literally owned this Gen single player campaign. From mgs to last of us the amount of
I'm not even a big Gears fan but I know the cover system works way better than Uncharted. And I thought you said PS3 exclusives were the ones doing the influencing, not being influenced.
so any game that improves, has the magical "ps influence" to thank.
so Sony created "Epic" and any game that has an epic feel is influenced by PS. Never mind the fact that Call of Duty, Mass effect, and Bioshock and even Halo did "epic" way better and before Uncharted was released.
it's not even better than dark souls which wasn't a PS3 exclusive
see that's why there is no point in even talking about these things with you fanboys. You'll gladly ignore reality, and rewrite history to try and prove your point. Everything about Halo was epic, there's no other word you could use to describe that game. From the huge battles involving multiple enemies, allies, and vehicles, to the story spanning multiple generations, planets, and races. Hell even the music was epic.
