We haven't seen or heard anything official from Microsoft, at this point there would be ZERO reason to pay 500 on a xbox besides that being someones system of choice.



When it comes down to it over all unless it was a sony exclusive even with superior hardware the games that dropped on both system always ran better on the xbox and looked better because 9/10 it was dev'd on a xbox kit. When the Ps3 was going for 500 most people didn't even use the blu ray and blu ray dvd where going for over 25$ a pop. nikka's was coming in buying romantic comedies used just to have a blu ray.

So again whats the point in have the horsepower if your just going to go below the speed limit most of the time.


I worked at a gaming store from 2004-2006 and still do it when I can for fun part time and aint much changed. People are mindless zombies when it comes to sony... Not so much nintendo and microsoft.

I don't get how people dismiss the stuff sony does and bash nintendo and microsoft so badly.


And to keep it 100% I've had some of my best gaming experiences on ps1 and ps2 so its no bias.

The PS3 as a gaming console had one of if not THE best Blu Ray players u can get and it costed LESS than every Blu Ray player out at the time....it was a bargain for the Blu Ray player alone not including the fact it came with a 3x bigger HDD than 360...free online gameplay and Internet...even a browser even tho it wasn't that great...4 USB ports...Linux support...ps2 backwards compatibility..quality parts...powerful system...FAR less quality control issues...etc etc...not sayin it was smart for them to put out a system they had to pay so much to make and charge so much for...but it WAS a decent buy for what it was at the time...

Luxury cars and regular cars both have the exact same expenses, just on a different order of magnitude. You do not pay Mercedes an extra expense just for the right (or ability) to start your car with the right (or ability) to start it being taken away for failing to pay. You pay more, yes, but you do not have punitive "privilege" charges. FOH.

again NO one was watching Blu ray like that, you couldn't even find more than 2-5 blu rays in wal mart for the 1st 2 years the system was out.

Again, I'm all for the games so "yall" doesn't apply to me. I had a OG Xbox that only RROD around the time the latest model dropped.

And the PS2 was way worst the 1st year or so of its life. It broke, froze, didn't play Blue back disk, and won't play some disk at all for no reason. I ended up with 4 ps2 in my life time. And don't regret it at all...

Terrible hardware Its not exclusive to one system, Nintendo really has the best track record as for as quality systems go.


The reason the dev's focus on the xbox is because microsoft made it dev friendly on purpose to work with, a mistake sony might have learned from with the sound of it from ps4.


And I'll pay for live all day before taking psn for free.. Live>>>psn and its the main reason I'm on my xbox more currently.
