X-Men spinoff The New Mutants – a film whose troubled production dates back to 2017 – looks like it is about to be released digitally.

Eagle-eyed fans perusing the list of titles available to purchase on Amazon were surprised to notice a price tag had suddenly become attached to the Disney film, which stars Maisie Williams, Anya Taylor-Joy and Stranger Things actor Charlie Heaton.

The film, directed by Josh Boone (The Fault in Our Stars), has been described as a horror movie set in an institution for young people with mutant abilities.

Unlike other films delayed by the studio, though, including the live-action remake of Mulan and Marvel film Black Widow, The New Mutants was not handed a new release date.

While the pre-order option is still available in the UK – for £13.99 – it has been removed from the film’s Amazon page in the US leaving its fate in the air for the time being.

Considering the studio is yet to give the film a new theatrical release date, it seems like the pre-order option is proof that The New Mutants will be available to watch at home in the near future.

None of delays ever had anything to do with quality. It was all studio politics. Even if it’s mid, it sucks it’s gotten that reputation without any negative reviews.
Exactly what these mcu fanboys do. They make up their mind based off the trailer. While trying to prop up age of Ultron 5 years later.
