Beats the fukk out of me. They were 75% done with the movie when the merger happened so I figured it would've gotten shelved but they kept pushing this shyt.
Whatever though, Its finally done.

You got the feeling everybody in the movie knew this movie was irrelevant, and it felt like it.
It felt like a mailed in performance.
Like one big blah.
Really depressing movie. The redundant theme of asking Jean if she is okay and Professor X saying he protected her was tiresome.
The highlight of the movie was the train fight.
That was only time it felt like an X-men movie. Mutants coming together to fight using their unique powers/gifts. 
Other than that, there really wasn't much to this movie. We saw this movie with The Last Stand. One of the weaker X-men films, but much better than this current Dark Phoenix.
Fox had some gems during the X-men run (X1,X2,First Class, Days of Future Past, Logan, Deadpool 1,2).

Honestly, I forgot this movie was even coming out until this past week when someone at work brought it up. The combination of having AMC A-list and it being in IMAX for a week here (theaters have only one iMAX projectors, and MIB comes out next week) I decided to watch it.
Fox is 0-2 with the Phoenix storyline. Glad this series is ending as this movie was only slight better than Apocalypse. The movie was very lackluster. Looked like they hurried the ending because it was very flat. Storm’s lightning looked like bad cgi. Best scenes was the train fight scenes and the opening scene. Even though it won’t happen, I wouldn’t mind if they kept the actors playing magneto and Charles. They always kill their roles.

film wasnt even bad, it was okay, good watchable film.. ive seen worse. film wasnt great but it was far from bad..
The action was legit upped in this flick,
Magneto as usual stole the show, the entire train scene was UNCUT CRACK, nikkas was getting wrecked ridiculously
was legit cheering when raven got offed with the quickness.. she got the point
only gripe was we have no explanation about #demaliens
its a shame the sheep ass mcu has ruined cinema to the point that everything is either amazing or trash.. no in between like 80% of the mcu isnt borderline trash..
