Used that T-Mobile promo to watch this in Dolby earlier. Just like Venom I didn’t really dislike it. It was a fine enough time killer.

With that said, I saw the original three X-Men films, and Logan. Never really got up on any of the ones featuring this batch. Was Jean Grae already in the previous films, with this one giving her more direct shine with the Phoenix storyline?

Besides us X-Men heads who grew up with this shyt, we gotta be honest.

Most people don't give a fukk about the characters besides Wolverine and dudes like Magneto.

Nobody gives a fukk about characters like Jean or Cyclops :mjlol:

But we always get these fukking Jean stories:hhh:

From the cartoons, to the movies, to the reboots, Jean's story always be the snooze fest.

former Jean (Famke Janssen) could get the pipe tho

I didn't give af about Thor, Guardian of the Galaxy, Captain America, Captain Marvel, and Ant Man but Marvel change all that so what's your point?

Movie was lit. Not sure what these critics are talking about. Nothing amazing but not bad at all. Mcavoy was good, Fassbender was good, Storm was sexy:noah:. Villian wasn't amazing but kept me interested overall. I liked it, 8/10:ehh:.
This wasn't as bad as everyone says. It isn't trash like Origins or Apocalypse. However, this ish is bland AF. Fassbender was excellent, as always. McAvoy was solid, Hoult was cool, and the train sequence was dope, and probably the best action sequence for the new crop.

The problem is that you never really got to care for these characters, so anything that happens to Jean is:yeshrug:.
This you what I keep hearing :jbhmm:

Sophie Turner's acting during the street scene was fukking awful, her head was shaking like cray when she was speaking :dead: Chastain was a pointless character, she was just a hypeman.

Storm getting washed by some dreads :beli:

Jean talking about everywhere she goes, she kills people but she only killed one person before she said that line :dahell:

The action was better in this movie than XMA but both movies are on the same level in terms of quality imo

Kind of. She was in X-men: Apocalypse, but not X-men: First Class or Days of the Future past.

The most recent batch of movies have focused mostly on Xavier, Magneto, and Mystique.

When you think about it..Beast reacting to Mystique is so funny. They never EVER interact in the books and Beast and Jean are like brother/Sister. He would never EVER CONTEMPLATE hurting her no matter what she did. It's just comical how Mystique was pushed
Glad Storm stood out though.

shyt is pure jokes. When Mystique died and someone said some shyt like 'All she ever wanted was to do good and help people' I wanted to throw up laughing. Comic book Mystique might be one of the most cold blooded bytches to ever set foot in the Marvel universe, and by a large margin too. :mjlol:
