I saw JJ didn’t even give this a good time if you drunk rating. Just said it was straight dog shyt. I don’t expect much but surely it can’t be that bad? I think people exaggerate on these CBM. Only truly awful ones were the first couple of Thor movies, catwoman, and B&R

Yeah critics are saying it’s not that bad it’s just not that good. To me that’s enough for me to go see it and form my own opinion. As long as Its somewhat enjoyable I’ll make the most of it.

Yeah critics are saying it’s not that bad it’s just not that good. To me that’s enough for me to go see it and form my own opinion. As long as Its somewhat enjoyable I’ll make the most of it.

alot of the reviews are complaining that it's not funny. MCU really got people expecting every comicbook movie to be a comedy.
Meanwhile my favorite ones are movies like Dark Knight, Blade, Winter Soldier, Logan. Movies with no comic releaf. That's actually been my biggest complaint in the MCU is that they are creeping ever so slowly towards adam west levels of campyness with the humor.
These are my modern day action movies like bruce lee was in the 70's, i didn't need Bruce to make a pop culture reference every 10 seconds. I needed him to kick alot of ass. John Wick ain't out there doing stand-up he shoots people. So the point about the humor doesn't bother me, Phoenix doesn't need to act like deadpool.
What worries me is that they said the action is meh,

Apparently this is tracking for a 170 million dollar global opening. Probably frontloaded as all hell, but critics may not have the last laugh just yet. Not that I am interested in seeing this. Just saying, the math might still turn out all right, considering this is now officially a Disney property.

They fukked up casting Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique rather than as Emma Frost. Instead of the movies being centered around Cyclops, Storm, Jean, professor x, and magneto, we get movies that are centered around professor x, magneto and Mystique.

They probably should've cast her as Jean Grey since they want her the primary woman in the franchise. That way Jean and cyclops might be a bigger focus than they were in all the other movies.

By having the same dude that the wrote The Last Stand direct this movie. It still confuses me why anyone at Fox would think that was a good idea.....

Not surprised this film is trash. Apocalypse was terrible and the trailers for this were terrible. Sophie turner is a very mediocre actress.
