Magneto does have godly powers....but more importantly, Magneto/Rogue was before the Gambit/Rogue down south gimmick pairing. It was up to Rogue to stop lying..she didnt lie in the comics. She kept choosing and pursuing Magneto str8 up. No matter what the X men or Gambit thought...thats why Uncanny #274 is one of absolute greatest comics ever written were the follow ups the next issue and X Men #1 that sold 8 milli.

The cartoon got Rogue lying her ass off in almost cowardly fashion though

We are missing the blaytant threats on peoples lives ,at the slightest hint of disrespect that made Wolverine the most respected X-man



Can you imagine someone in real life pulling a knife on you everytime you disagreed with them? Theyve decided to make this calm,matute version of Wolverine. Rather than the disagreeable unhinged version. Wolverine should be threatning to cut people for nothing at all times.

However, at least in some comic runs, Rogue learns to control her powers. So she can turn it on and off at will.

This show is keeping with the Rogue that doesn't have control of her powers. That could (and probably should) change in future seasons.

but the two most famous memes from Wolverine 92 is him being a simp for Jean.

Im not saying Wolverine wasn‘t popular or dangerous. But I think within a team, Wolverine doesn’t get a lot of shine. It’s when he goes off on his own that we get the most popular version of Wolverine.
