This will be different than the early to mid 90s. The company was privately owned and could hide things like this better. Those investors are going to be on Vince's ass to fix this shyt. You can only fukk up those projected dividends a few times before the goons come in with the hostile takeover. :demonic:

is this for real...like is the guy that wrote this an actual reputable economist? Vince has been through a lot with that company. Sure, he's senile and financing foolish things these days...but I have a hard time believing it. Look at how long it took TNA to go under and they are still around. Who saw that coming.

This is how I save WWE from running out of cash:

1. WWE Studios is a bust, cancel it and sell all the movies to TV stations/Netflix/whatever.

2. The network should cost at least $30/month.

3. Charge for the big 4. They should have never been $9.99, there no way to recoup from the people who normally drop $200 a year buying those PPVs all the way down to $40, even with PPV getting their cut.

4. NXT needs a cable deal, maybe Spike will fukk with it since TNA flopped.

5. Daniel Bryan fans hijack the main storyline and obviously didn't keep their subscriptions. Deavor him and put the belt on your cash cow, John Cena.

6. Deavor Total Divas and all of the other random characters that don't do anything.

1. Who would buy a video library filled with movies that nobody wants to see?
2. Why risk increasing the price that high? People aren't buying it already and they are going to alienate existing customers
3. I could see this happening.
4. Probably going to happen, they'll sell NXT somewhere. They sold Main Event as programming to the UK already
5. Why would they fire somebody that's positioned to be their #3 or #4 face if he's still getting solid reactions? It already looks like D-Bry has reached gate keeper status. I rather see him as a gate keeper than the likes of Big Show or Kane
6. Total Divas sucks, but they probably sell a lot of ads for it or else it wouldn't be the third season already :yeshrug:

I'm thinking that this is eventually what's going to happen......and I can't wait to see how it's handled, and the backlash that will certainly follow.

After months of pathetic, pitiful, downright shameless promoting of "$9.99"....how the fukk do you go about not only raising the standard price, but also taking away the much coveted PPV's?

For months on end, we have started off Raw with long, drawn-out Authority promos, with Trips and Steph selling the $9.99 price point, with smug looks on their faces...looking like they are oh-so-meta by advertising on the show. Well the chickens always come home to roost, now the company is in trouble, changes need to be made and the WWE is going to be left with egg on it's face one way or another.

They're fukked.

Yeah, reality television like that is notoriously cheap to produce, that's why there's so many shows like that. Ironically, it's probably one of the few profitable ventures they have right now.

If you can tap into that catty, vapid, gossipy vein that women have, you can eat well in that arena.

They don't need to shut down WWE Studios, they need to restructure it completely with a new studio head on board who knows what he's doing. They kinda were growing into something early on with movies like The Marine, The Condemned and See No Evil, but the movies didn't do that well at the box office, they got scared about the risks and started dumping all their money into cheap trash instead (not saying those three movies weren't necessarily trash, but they were a lot more entertaining than the shyt they drop nowadays).

If only a million are on the network for 9.99 then you can bet the number of buys will decrease if they did charge 30. Some profit will be made, but will it even be enough to survive in the long run :sas1:

They'll have to crack 600k to see a good turnout
