The most majestic thing about Eugene was that he was played by Nick Dinsmore who at the time was the best wrestler in developmental. So they took their best in ring prospect by faaaaaaaar and made him a bumbling lackwit.

Idk breh, look at it this way. Network $10 a month = they get $120 from me a year. When the only option was PPV for $40-$60 I either found a stream or waited til the torrent dropped, and they got $0 a year from me. The last ppv I paid money for was like Survivor Series 93 cuz my mom was in a good mood or somethin.

Obviously they were better off letting a small percentage of their audience get away with piracy and letting a few hundred thousands pay full price. I'm really curious why they thought this was gonna work

Everybody thought that since it was fake that dudes must not really be getting hurt and it must not be real blood or whatever, but when he died and they found out his physical condition was so fukked up, everybody found out that it was more real than everybody knew.

THEN, Vince McMahon's wife ran for the Senate and her opponents used like all the titties and bikini contests and stuff against her in her campaign and when she lost, they blamed it on people associating her with nudity and violence, so they went and became PG to end those criticisms.
