I've always thought that the combination of UFC's emergence and the loss of WCW fans between 2001 and 2005 has impeded any growth.

Theoretically they should be getting more than 3 million viewers in America weekly considering the population growth and the fact that 10 million people were watching Nitro and RAW every week at it's peak but they've alienated old timey wrestling fans and kids.

Plus they lack transcending stars.

I'm honestly overjoyed to see Aiden English get some proper singles action. He's great. AND HE GOT THE WIN

They kept true with the references so much more than anyone could have expected. Even had the log, Fandango speaking backwards, the Red Room, the intro on point...that was golden.
