WWE.com wrote an article about the main event then deleted it.

It stated that Shinsuke Nakamura won due to Baron Corbin interferring and mistakenly laying out John Cena.


It makes sense that was the original finish, Baron tries to attack Shinsuke, lays out Cena, Nak gets the win.... Cena vs. Corbin at SummerSlam. Obviously Cena changed it to Shinsuke going over clean then having Baron come out after the show to attack them and set up the Summerslam match.

Nakamura vs Cena was ok. They didnt mesh that well, but it wasnt bad. That finishing suplex on Cenas head looked brutal. Nakamura no selling the first AA was kind of stupid.

Cena vs Jinder would've made more sense imo. They wrestle a similar style and the buildup writes itself. Jinder vs a guy doing a lot of kicks doesnt mesh as well. Plus Jinders still a new main eventer and should face established main eventers for a little longer to "make him".

Low key Gable vs Rusev was a great match. Those suplexes on Rusev were impressive and the match told a good story.
