Michael McGillicutty/Curtis Axel never got the Hennig name. There's a history there. I guess if he makes the main roster and they bring Braun Strowman back, maybe they'll rename him since 2 guys can't have the same name in WWE :heh:
Bray Wyatt never got his daddy's name either and he became a world champion. What point are some of yall making? :what:

And by the way, Curtis Axel having or not having the Hennig name wasn't the issue.

one of the few times they should shorten his name to just Bronson, give him the character from the Tom Hardy movie and make this his theme

A Bronson film reference in a WWE thread :wow: have him shave the goatee into a mustache and wear the round sunglasses too

Having tons of guys that share names. Where's the originality?

Ethan Page, Adam Page, Adam Cole, Christian Cage, Brian Cage, Brian Pillman, Bryan Danielson, Christopher Daniels, Chris Jericho, Anthony Ogogo, Anthony Bowens, Matt Hardy, Matt Jackson, Matt Lee, Matt Sydal, Nick Comorotto, Nick Jackson, Shawn Dean, Shawn Spears, John Silver, Jon Moxley.

:gucci:

This is a fukking terrible take. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but in the real world, some people have similar names and (gasp) same last names.

The issue is them tip toeing around it in the first place

the singlet

the steiner line

the dogface gremlin reference

just fukking use it...

Pretty much what @Kidd Dibiase said.

But thinking about it, it's likely what I said earlier. He probably doesn't want WWE to own the trademark for the "Steiner" name if he decides to leave down the line similar to how Cody couldn't use the "Rhodes" name when he first left the WWE. It's not their real name even though it's the surname they're most recognized with. Either way, the kid looks like he's a star so whatever. They'll rename him when he gets to the main roster like y'all are saying anyway.

But no one cares about this other than weirdos like Vince and stooges like yourself.

Adam Page and Adam Cole will get bigger pops than 99% of people on WWE because they're over. No one gives a shyt that they share a name. These are the names they're known for in wrestling. So that's the names they'll use. It's as simple as that. And the overthinking, overbranding, overengineering shyt that stooges like you lap up is why the WWE product is so unwatchable.
I don’t understand that weirdo. Dude been on one with the E lovejocking more than ever. :hhh:

And what’s even dumb about his logic is there isn’t a Steiner or “Bron” name on the roster. :mjlol:

Roman Reigns is doing just fine w/o his in-ring last name being Anoa'i. :sas1:

Plus when he started out he had a shytty name too, Leakee. :mjlol:

My how things change if you give it time. :ohhh:

When have the Anoa’i fam used the last name as part of their ring name? I can’t recall anyone in the past 3 decades use it. Maybe the old timers.

Steiners been using their name in ring. Bron is already talented, and the Steiner name woulda made more eyes notice. He can back up the name with his work.

Dude woulda been moved to the upper card faster; shyt maybe even the NA champ within months. Of course that may happen still, and a name change is possible, but time will tell. The name reeks tho. :camby:
