Michael McGillicutty/Curtis Axel never got the Hennig name. There's a history there. I guess if he makes the main roster and they bring Braun Strowman back, maybe they'll rename him since 2 guys can't have the same name in WWE

Well with Hennig he used names to honor his father and grandfather so it was still a way to have that connection and not be totally obvious.

All my point is names change all the time there.
