Look I knew a docu-series about the Ruthless Agression done by WWE was gonna have a lot of spin and revisionism, even more so than the Monday Night Wars do....

But saying the WWF changed their name just for the sake of it and that the Triple H reign of terror actually carried things was:dead:

This whole series is gonna be funny. They cant really speak on Benoit and most people look at that era as when the decline steadily began (With a few steady years in between) so I dont know how they can say its grear about from a Lot of Cena/Edge shyt. I mean fukk Brock/Eddie/Kurt are all not there by 06 either

This docuseries is gonna be fueled with Liiiiiiiiiiiiiiies

They tried to act like the wacky storylines like Torrie/Dawn, Goldust/Booker, and Katie Vick came before the Brand Split when it actually came after. There were so many bizzare storylines in the early brand split era.

Yeah I didn’t care for that either. Including Booker & Goldust was also a bad choice by them too, since it actually got over, was entertaining, and directly led to Booker getting that WM feud with Triple H

Loved the first episode and it was perfect timing since I've been watching the start of the Smackdown Six era (great TV). The thing that bugged me the most was them making it a point to try and give relieve criticism of Undertaker and Triple H off the bat before talking about the Invasion failing. That was such bullshyt by saying they deserve credit for being willing to be the champ during a down time and how most wrestlers don't want to be champ when business is falling lol. It was basically their way of saying not to blame those two for the invasion failing.

Yeah the only storylines I wasn’t feeling in 02-03 was the McMahon family storyline on SmackDown, that Booker/HHH storyline, and the Katie Vick stuff.

I actually watched that Raw episode where WCW took over and goddamn did it feel out of place, would’ve been better if they didn’t go through with the invasion at all since The NWO, Sting, Goldberg, and Steiner weren’t coming right away.

In a way they credited Triple H for carrying WrestleMania 18 and not Hogan/Rock :dwillhuh:

I had the :beli: at that like Rock/Hogan is a textbook Mania moment and some consider the real end of X8.

Lot of folks barely remember that HHH vs Jericho even happened (and fewer remember Jazz displayed Black Excellence and retained the women’s belt over Trish and Lita in that triple threat immediately after Rock/Hogan. But given it’s a divas match from that era, it being forgotten is to be expected given what match preceded it)

I understand the company’s pettiness not wanting to highlight Jericho (an important person of that era) cause he works for the competition, but giving HHH credit for X8 :mjlol:

I knew Brian Gewirtz used to ghost write Rock's promos. But I never knew thats what he looked like. He seems really knowledgeable about the business:ehh:

:mjlol: At KO pretty much shytting all over WCW and Buff Bagwell. The disrespect :scusthov:

OVW 2002 Class was 2003 NBA draft class tier with the crop of future stars that came from it :wow:

4 of the top 30 WWE wrestlers of all time. 7 royal rumble wins, 12 wrestlemania main events, 44 world titles combined. Vince struck gold and those guys practically carried the company for the next damn near 20 years. There will never be another rookie class that good :wow:

HHH still won't admit perhaps he went a little too far in the RA era? :mjlol:

The closest he's come to that is that BERRIED GREATEST HITS hype video that I can't remember if it was from the Bryan or Roman WM angles but was the closest to self aware I've seen from him about that period.
