Wont be surprised if Vince throws a little funding money for BFG just to get an edge in

So, it looks like WWE will be the only player in town :snoop:

WWE has been the "only player in town" since the Hogan flop... Don't think just cuz TNA got a TV deal and an established and funded brand that they've been on WWEs level or could be considered a player in WWEs town. NJPW, ROH, CMLL, all them other promotions don't run the same lane so they don't count. TNA has been stagnant for years while WWE has only been getting bigger.

I'm not sold in Vince wanting the tape library, outside of matches from AJ, Joe, Roode and Aries what other value is there? The only one of those four on the main roster is AJ, the other three are down in NXT for the foreseeable future. Also I highly doubt they put anything on the network immediately, they barely acknowledged TNA ever existed recently.

The value is just owning that extra content for WWE. They are the only ones who that footage has any real value too anyway with the network. They try & buy whatever tapes they can get when there available.

The tapes are the only thing TNA has that makes WWE even throw anything out there outside a very small group of the wrestlers. Only reason I can see anybody else trying to buy it is for the TV deals because it's the only other thing with value without knowing how exactly the wrestlers contracts are set up.
