WWE has been the "only player in town" since the Hogan flop... Don't think just cuz TNA got a TV deal and an established and funded brand that they've been on WWEs level or could be considered a player in WWEs town. NJPW, ROH, CMLL, all them other promotions don't run the same lane so they don't count. TNA has been stagnant for years while WWE has only been getting bigger.

WWE has been the only player in town since March of 2001. TNA was NEVER a competitor. Even at it's absolute peak. Being the second biggest promotion in the US hasn't meant shyt since ECW and WCW, because the gulf between first and second is incomprehensible. ROH has been the second biggest company in the US for quite a while now, and I'm pretty sure a NJ only show could draw as big or bigger of a crowd.

I'm not sold in Vince wanting the tape library, outside of matches from AJ, Joe, Roode and Aries what other value is there? The only one of those four on the main roster is AJ, the other three are down in NXT for the foreseeable future. Also I highly doubt they put anything on the network immediately, they barely acknowledged TNA ever existed recently.

Sting, Angle, Booker, EY, Hardys (If they come back), for future DVDs and in Sting and Angle's case, HOF.

Maybe dixie should see if she could work out a temporary exclusive licensing deal of the video library to WWE.

SMark CACs like to push this point. TNA was never close to being neck and neck with WWE, but at their peak they did around 60k ppv buys in back to back months, and they did a 1.5 rating on national TV once. ROH never did anything remotely approaching that.
