The belt design as a men’s world title is too ingrained in pop culture to change it now, it’s easily recognizable with how they send it out to sports teams who win the championship.

No idea why they keep it for the women’s straps though. They should change it up for them.

I don’t mind the WWE Championship design, I actually like it a lot (the original, not the gold version), when The New Day revealed it after Kofi beat Bryan after Bryan wore the hippie belt during his reign I was like but the women’s belts can be changed, especially if they’re gonna end up changing the names.

Really the problem is that the belts looks so cheap and uninspired and they don’t really pop. Say what you want about AEW but they have some beautiful belts (not a tribalistic thing so don’t start). Hell even TNA’s belts used to be clean. Lucha Underground belts too .
