WWE is absolutely fukked once the part timers are unable to compete.

You must be trolling, the fans made them not WWE creative. If WWE made them Punk would still be around and Bryan wouldn't have ever been on the "injured list".

Last real "star" they made was Cena
that's why I put quotes around stars. They didn't facilitate them becoming stars but those were the last two top guys that felt like real stars. The current crop don't have that same aura Punk and Bryan did.

What I don't understand about not wanting someone bigger than the WWE is that if that wrestler becomes "bigger" than the WWE it will benefit the company. If that star gets mainstream exposure it will lead to people tuning in which should be what they want. The Rock became huge but everyone knows, except maybe little kids, that he began as a wrestler. Although Cena is not on Rock's level everyone knows Cena is a WWE guy. Same with Batista.

whatever they want it to be since she is champ, they can make the whole show about her and Ronda
Ok. Shes not even been announced.

Alexa and Trish and Nikki and Ronda and Lita and Mickie

That's what they've been pushing so far that has resulted in apparently slow ticket sales.

If Charlotte and Becky end up main eventing over all that, that will be a big plus. I dont think they will.

This makes the most sense but Ronda is main eventing, I would bet on it.. I don't care about any of those other matches cause they are all old and washed, if they were smart(they pretend not to be) they would let the current active talent headline and just have the rest of them be there as special attractions

I was thinking about this not to long ago and you're absolutely right. There is no one. Theres very few main eventers, well ones that are interesting or deserve it but no mega stars. Like whos gonna mark out when Dean Ambrose runs in at Wrestlemania 56
but that's what their analysts think, they think the kids now will look at Dean ambrose in the future the way we look at the rock.. well maybe they think that for reigns and cena but they think we mostly liked those guys cause they were our era and not cause they were better

That promo Shawn gave last night about his retirement and Undertaker's response to it made me think it was foreshadowing. There's no way they would have that exchange in there if they weren't planning to follow up on it.

But I don't want to see another match between these two. Neither of them can give us classics anymore. They're rehashing shyt that needs to stay in the past. Besides, Shawn sounds like Marge Simpson now. I can only imagine what it's going to look like if he competes. :scusthov:
I think Shawn could get back in shape based on what we saw a few years back at mania and still go.

Long story short, they build these men and women up and once they reach a certain amount of popularity, they try to level it off and that won’t go over well in the future.
WWE does not want a Rock (or on a minor scale Batista) situation on their hands..esp since the product is not that good these days

The owner of the company calls his own fans a universe. He bans phrases that he doesn't like. He has "Longest Running Episodic Show In Television History," placard on all the scripts. He is convinced that everyone else is out-of-touch, not him.

See the pattern. Vince is a control freak. Remember Tout? Remember Fan-Nation? This old dude can't do things like a regular person, why didn't he just use Twitter, IG, Facebook-- you know, everything that was popular at the time. It's because if he doesn't have a say or control over it, he'll feel uncomfortable. Dude just has a massive inferiority complex, which has served him well at times. I mean, dude is successful. But, the worst thing that somebody could do to him is walk-away from his world. The deeper meaning to this is that the person manages to do it without any of his help.

shyt, let's take Rock, since he was mentioned. Vince actually had some control over Rock's movies and was pissed when Rock was taking parts that he didn't approve. When Rock's contract came up, they didn't re-sign him. shyt, they didn't even call him back. This is around the time that people on the internet were mad that Rock never mentioned wrestling, during his little Disney run. WWE was comfortable with letting people force that narrative because it painted them like the good guys. shyt, look at what happened to Punk, they sent a fed-ex on his wedding day, then saved face. Granted, Punk hasn't done himself any favors since then, but people forget that Vince and his empty promises were the main sources to a lot of Punk's anger and bitterness.

If it's not in Vince's plans, he'll do whatever it takes to sabotage it and deflect the blame to the person he fukked over. It infuriates him when someone does things that he cannot control. So he uses the one advantage he has, and that's a loyal fanbase that won't leave partially because he's the only big game in town.
