WWE is absolutely fukked once the part timers are unable to compete.

This old ass man in full gimmick waiting outside Bron’s locker room like some gothic groupie :dead:

Forget the Streak ending, this is the biggest L he ever took :dead:
Even the camera guy is like :francis:

LeBron asked for a belt and since this company has no stars, Rock was the one that sent him and the Heat all the belts. Cena and WWE tried, but you know they were going to try and have him show up and shyt. Just explains how far and above Rock and Austin are to everyone today.

shyt, look at what happened when LeBron was caught working out in an Undertaker shirt. They sent fukking Taker to a Cavs game to try and get free-press and he ended up looking like a fukking loser outside their lockerroom.

They wanted to make a spectacle out of it which is likely the polar opposite of what Lebron wanted.

The owner of the company calls his own fans a universe. He bans phrases that he doesn't like. He has "Longest Running Episodic Show In Television History," placard on all the scripts. He is convinced that everyone else is out-of-touch, not him.

See the pattern. Vince is a control freak. Remember Tout? Remember Fan-Nation? This old dude can't do things like a regular person, why didn't he just use Twitter, IG, Facebook-- you know, everything that was popular at the time. It's because if he doesn't have a say or control over it, he'll feel uncomfortable. Dude just has a massive inferiority complex, which has served him well at times. I mean, dude is successful. But, the worst thing that somebody could do to him is walk-away from his world. The deeper meaning to this is that the person manages to do it without any of his help.

shyt, let's take Rock, since he was mentioned. Vince actually had some control over Rock's movies and was pissed when Rock was taking parts that he didn't approve. When Rock's contract came up, they didn't re-sign him. shyt, they didn't even call him back. This is around the time that people on the internet were mad that Rock never mentioned wrestling, during his little Disney run. WWE was comfortable with letting people force that narrative because it painted them like the good guys. shyt, look at what happened to Punk, they sent a fed-ex on his wedding day, then saved face. Granted, Punk hasn't done himself any favors since then, but people forget that Vince and his empty promises were the main sources to a lot of Punk's anger and bitterness.

If it's not in Vince's plans, he'll do whatever it takes to sabotage it and deflect the blame to the person he fukked over. It infuriates him when someone does things that he cannot control. So he uses the one advantage he has, and that's a loyal fanbase that won't leave partially because he's the only big game in town.

He’s got a god complex like few you’ll ever see. It makes no sense for someone who’s done as well as him to be this insecure. I’d love to see all the shyt that a shrink would diagnose him with.
I read his post in Susan Sarandon's voice

To add on, they'd also be fukked if international audiences simply stopped showing up to house shows. WrestleMania usually sells out because of all the people from other countries coming, meanwhile Australia is about to host a PPV with 80,000 people and I bet most of the audience will be from Australia.

That's just not happening. There's too many countries that will see a yearly WWE event as a big attraction they will pay money to go see. Even if they burn 1 country a year, there's three more that will step up and sell out a place or give them a good deal.

The last point you made is something I’ve thought about for a long time. They keep trying to put genies back in bottles but you can’t; after 97, you can’t go backwards. Vince and co keep trying to go back to the 80s style of booking but without the good writing and logic built into it. But rather than move wrestling forward they’re stuck in trying to power up the Delorean. And I get it. I get why you play it safe when you’re basically too big to fail. There’s no need in their eyes to innovate anything or try a different set of raw, which has been the same for 20 years, or actually listen to the fans because their getting our money either way.

If you turn off raw, I bet you’re still watching smack down. If you watch neither, you’re probably watching nxt meaning you’re a network subscriber. Then you’ve got the number of arenas they sell out and the stadiums they sell out for mania every year; it’s the super bowl now. Doesn’t matter who’s on the card people love the experience of being there and to say “damn I was there” and in a world where everyone cares about posting flicks of everything they do, that shyt is powerful.

Like it’s been said in this thread and on this board before, WWE is the star. The brand is bigger than anyone until a legitimate number 2 infiltrates. And by legitimate I mean one who’s getting tv deals to compete with wwe, not just streaming deals. There has to be an option and a choice, not just for the fans but for the wrestlers as well. All In was a great first step but what’s next?

The WWE would be over over night if the rock invested in making a rival promotion with the Tongan connection and bullet club.

Not sure why the rock will not invest in his family and got tama and all the other more talented guys in the family not have an outlet.

It kinda makes no sense after the bullet club beat down purge happened on domestic soil.

As a matter of fact.
Why the rock did not buy the nwa is beyond me too.
Like set your fam up for a legacy.
All you gotta do is the early investments and hand that shyt off to your fam.

shyt is ridiculous.

Literally wrasslin is begging to give the next boom to the rock.

90% of these names yall are complaining about losing, were never big attractions to begin with. some of them were the complete opposite and drove fans away.

read the 1st page, and the only actual draws that were mentioned were rock, brock, punk, Danielson, mysterio.

at some point, yall gotta realize that yall just love to complain. and yall are gonna watch regardless. most of yall prolly don't even watch other promotions.

If there anything surprising, it's that Rock hasnt invested hugely into gyms. His Instagram is full of people that worship him on just working out. Easy money.

They have no long term plan for anything :manny:
No. It's called not trusting the talent.

Look at Evolution..they only promoting Trish and Lita vs Mickie right now. That's it. Lol. Less than a month away.

And the super show is about flying in old men to sell it...Foley, Taker, Cripple H, Shawn Michaels..thats it. They ain't promoting no Shield shyt..no Braun..no Ronda..Taker vs Cripple H. 55 yr vs 50 yr. Haha.

This post from Reddit kinda sums up how bad things have gotten

WWE is selling their Australia show by promoting Triple H vs Undertaker. They first wrestled 23 years ago.

That would have been like Bob Backlund and the Iron Shiek facing each other at Wrestlemania 22 (23 years after they wrestled in 1983), Hogan and Savage facing off at Wrestlemania 28, and a still-to-come Bret vs Austin in 2019.

Incredible :heh:
