True, but SYM still had features HCTP really could've used. It had more locations and venues, a better season mode, and better caw system in my opinion.
Both are the pinnacle of wrestling game design IMO

Custom sideplates not even showing up in Universe mode. I made some for King Booker and Velveteen Dream, and when I had them win the WWE title, they always appeared with the default sideplates. It only appears to work for the CAW's and a select few of the in game wrestlers like AJ, Roman, and etc. but not the rest. They better patch this ish. 
This is the messed up thing about gaming in 2018.
Outside of a few developers, few actually try to make the best game possible each time they make a new game. They charge you $60 each year for incremental changes then every 5 years they strike gold. I've played every wwe 2k game from 13 till 18, each of them I'd play a few months then stop. This new one seems OK but I wont be buying it.

Gamecube is underrated in general when it comes to wrestling games. The only failure was that Crush Hour bullshyt, but X8-DOR2 is some of the best wrestling you'll ever play. I don't know why Xbox could never put together a decent game, if WM 21 had the gameplay of RAW 2 then that would've been great.

3 and 4 team tornado elimination tags are fun
Not sure why no option to have elimination during single triple threat or four way matches tho
