WWE 2K19 Is going to be Phenominal

I got this for $40 (deluxe) over the weekend.

I played a few matches before I started 2k Showcase.

I played the steel cage match and the mechanics are on point. I like how you can call the ref to open the door and play a mini game to get out the cage. The match is fun and you don't have to include a pinfall or submission stipulation (like previous WWE2k games).

The A.I. on 2k19 is ridiculously competitive (as it should be) I played on normal. I did a cash-in on Roman w/Braun in Universe Mode and I had to beat him with like 3 powerslams. I like that you can choose winners in simulated matches.

So far so good. The fun factor that was missing from other WWE 2k games are back. The only thing that annoys me is trying to play some of the matches in 2k showcase. They really try to make simple tasks hard like at the end of the Orton/Bryan No DQ match you have to beat him w/the Yes Lock kendo stick submission and for w/e reason it becomes a task when it shouldn't smh

What things make you feel like the fun factor is back? And have you encountered any serious bugs that fukk up the match or the modes? Speak on it, my proud black brother.

Checked around twitter and I saw that they removed weapons in the Hell In A Cell match......this true?

From what i've read they say Hell in a Cell is the worst part of the game along with the commentary

- A.I. competitiveness
- New submission system
- Updates to Universe Mode (simulated winners/MITB cash-ins after matches).
- can assign MITB holders & put MITB briefcase up for grabs.

So far, I haven't encountered any bugs/glitches but I got frustrated trying to complete small tasks in the 2k showcase that should have been simple. I haven't played a lot of match types in exhibition yet b/c I was playing universe mode or 2k showcase. I might play HIAC or create a custom match later on.

I paid $40 for mine. I said it wasn't any point in waiting until BF when the price is probably just gone fall to $50. I figured if it sucked, I could sell it on eBay and easily get back what I paid for it.

Yup. No weapons in HIAC so I definitely won't be touching that match unless 2k adds weapons in one of it's updates. Ridiculous. A HIAC with no weapons.

How the fukk does a developer let the game release like that ? Pretty sure there’s never been a single iteration of the match where weapons didn’t come into play.
