I love ghost but that was stupid and this is why I don't do business with friendsI felt bad for Divine Why would he negotiate deals for free Ghost said if the deal was for 1mil, he wants the whole 1 mil ...good luck with that
GZA too on ODB first album you can hear GZA spit the same verse ODB spit on a separate song or adlib him... I have to go back and listen but they used to recycle verses.Did Rza write all odb’s lyrics?
I was thinking the same thing while watching it. And Nas actually went to ANOTHER station, called Angie a terrible rapper, called Flex corny and insinuated that he was Gay AND put out a hit on his chain. And his “ban” only lasted a few months. While they were saying Wu’a ban lasted TEN YEARS
I'm still shocked why they gave cilvarongz all of that airplay? No hate but not baffled.
Oh well..
I get that but they put in stuff with like he was very Integral with the Wu movement. No hate again, I believe the rza has a soft spot for him. He likes the guy. They kinda had to, given that Wu album was his idea. Seems like he was solely to blame not being honest

RZA was getting some funny ass looks at that dinner table though
During the session for 36 Chambers, you could hear GZA reciting lyrics from Liquid Swords. This documentary didn't cover a lot of specifics but it's still a good documentary. Some tracks from 36 chambers was a demo from 1989 from what I've read. I THINK protect ya neck was originally titled "Who the fukk are you?" And it was originally ghostface and someone else on the track. I read that in a RZA interview from years back.
On a sidenote some of you niccas be lying y'all asses off about Wu history lol. I wish this documentary would have touched on the shyt in Ohio, Wu tang beefs, and the makings of the album's. So much to cover.
