O'Neal is among my favorites now, I only listened to the demo a handful of times and the live performance, like the real track quite a bit. it moves along quickly, only 2 small Nathaniel parts, good verses. love sitars, you cant go wrong with an underlying sitar

RZA's vision isn't blind or off, it's just different from where most fans want Wu to be or where they thought they'd be but it started with Forever. The group started dealing with higher thoughts and concepts than the stuff they'd been doing for four years and this sounds like the natural evolution of that. When they made the W, they were still in their late 20s early 30s so it was kinda easy to recapture that vibe from just 7 years prior but now RZA is obviously in a different place which makes sense; most people in their 40s aren't thinking like they were in their 20s
A lot of these same people clown Premo for not changing his style up, and there are always posts about Busta or 50 trying to still act like they were in their 20's. Do I think this new style sounds better than 90's RZA? No, but it's still very high quality, and I can't fault an artist for trying new things 25 years into the game. And he's not scared of criticism like scary Dre to the point that he won't even put his vision out to the fans

Yeah I don't fault dude for wanting to change and growing. He shows on the album with pioneer the frontier that he can still do what he used to he'd jusr rather not do that for a full album. Maybe he'll have a change of heart next time but sonically this album is beautiful

Cappa Kawhi Leonard'd the album :wow: (meth being duncan, rae-parker and ghost ginobili as far as wu releases usually play out)
Where is Deck? You can put him in Ghost spot if you have too because in certain instances Ghost seemed out of place with the group. He might have recorded his verse by himself but Deck and Meth to me was clearly the standouts on the album. You can put Cappa up there also.

I was including all wu albums for that analogy...but yea Deck always does his thing..very consistent

Deck is Diaw from last year's finals
Gza is Danny Green..they don't run plays for him, but he spot up in the corner and the trey ball/verse is money
Rza is Coach Pop

:lolbron:
ok I'll stop with the analogies:skip:

yea..not hardcore or anything..but once I started with them as an analogy it made sense to finish with the same team
Die hard Sprus fan here. Been my only team I rolled with for 25 yrs. Get the League Pass every year to watch them and see them everytime they come to Atlanta. I am so ready for March 22nd when they come.

this is an odd album.. i like a good majority of it though

not enough rae for my taste though

didnt like how it started out but it finished a lot better

i like the more 70s sounding songs more than the traditional wu sounding tracks
