I disagree. Rae's best projects have RZA attached, with his vision. Same with Ghostface - his best albums are collaborative with RZA. The other albums are good-to-great, but they also don't have that Wu sound. GZA ehhhh. Masta Killa is the only one that put out a great Wu-vintage sounding album, without 100% RZA involvement. I think if they all were in on the creative process, you'd have another collabo sounding album like Iron flag.
right, and in a non-RZA Clan album there would still be emailing of verses, about 11 diff producers (including Scram Jones and other cronies) and no song topics. look at Wu Massacre, Ghost was the A&R for that. he couldn't even get the 3 of them to record songs together. its harder than dudes think
7 of them DID record this together, a lot of it. and Ghost was involved a lot too this time, it was only you-know-who who came in last and did his shyt separately
