"Got inches for y'all wenches" :russ:

Dope album. I'm a massive wu fan but really wasn't feeling The W, iron flag or 8D apart from a few tracks here and there. This shyt here is fire to me - RZA came through on the boards and just reaffirmed himself as the GOAT producer to me after a couple of missteps on The W, 8D, etc. Meth and ghost spitting as usual. Rza was spitting on this shyt as well, probably the best after Ghost and Meth and I usually think he's one of the weakest. Rae's one of my favourite rappers ever but he sounds like he doesn't be wanna there tbh. One of the best rap releases this year though

It fukks up the vibe on some of the songs. This isn't a Shady cypher where it's just a bunch of bars....it's Wu-Tang, arguably the most prolific rap group in history. The closest thing to the Rolling Stones or Beatles that hip-hop has.

I hold them to a higher standard. A hook shouldn't be wack....a single snare shouldn't be wack, that's the level of quality I hold these guys to, because I know what they're capable of.

I already copped the album, and a few songs/verses I like as much as anything else in their discography, so I'm :yeshrug: about the whole thing. But they should've talked RZA out of some of these hooks. Out of all the shyt these guys bytch out, them letting some of these hooks slide is :what:

Basically the only problem I have is the hooks, so I'd say over all it's 3rd, behind "Forever". But it's pretty far behind "Forever".

Even complaining about the hooks, I don't expect to like everything about any album nowadays. The stars damn near have to align for that to happen. So as long as I get a few songs to add to my phone to listen to, I'm happy.

  • Beats are dope,
  • some of those GZA verses rivaled Killah Priest entire PWOWR double LP,
  • RZArectah is dead :sadcam:,
  • Cappa went in,
  • the 1st hook of Miracle is horrific, the closing one is dope.
  • Deck, Ghost, and Rae were dropping heavy imagery on their bars.
  • Forever, 36, W, Iron Flag, ABT, 8D
  • Wish we can get a clan LP with a entire Sunz of Man feature.
