What we're they saying? I was at work

That it had to have been a hijacking and "sabotage" and that more than one person was definitely involved. 3 signal transmitters(The Transponders) were switched off manually(which is why the plane went off the grid), which would have required at least two people do, one person has to fly and the other has to make their way down to turn them off. To get to the transmitters you need to lift a carpet, open a flap/hatch next to the cockpit with a special type of screwdriver and crawl down to a certain area where they're contained. When the first transmitter was turned off, the plane sharply changed direction, the second transmitter that recorded this was then turned off. Some other guy talked about how even if they find the plane and the cockpit recorder it will be useless as it's a two hour loop, so the recording when they made the turn will be erased. Also talked about how a plane cannot land in "the dark" and that it would require ground communication and the correct runway to do so. They had about 12-15 experts from different fields(CIA, aviation, journalists, Pentagon correspondents etc) giving their thoughts on the matter.

@AP Report: A Malaysian government official says investigators have concluded flight hijacked AP LINK

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (AP) -- A Malaysian government official says investigators have concluded that one of the pilots or someone else with flying experience hijacked the missing Malaysia Airlines jet.
The official, who is involved in the investigation, says no motive has been established, and it is not yet clear where the plane was taken. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to brief the media.
The official said that hijacking was no longer a theory. "It is conclusive."
The Boeing 777's communication with the ground was severed under one hour into a flight March 8 from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing. Malaysian officials have said radar data suggest it may have turned back and crossed back over the Malaysian peninsula westward, after setting out toward the Chinese capital.

Something about the Captain struck me as odd when I first saw this.

I felt a quick suspicious glance directly into the camera, a :smugdraper: smirk after the patdown, and an unnatural slap of his hands on his pants after putting his arms down.

He's involved.

The rapid rise in altitude could have been that they pulled the nose up sharply to prevent someone from trying to get into the cockpit

  • The CNN program also talked about how post 9/11 you can no longer just break into the cockpit as they're now reinforced with metal. So passengers are locked out, however this means they cannot get in the pilots decide to go AWOL.
  • There was also a reason given as to why the passengers couldn't establish any sort of contact with people on the ground, I've forgotten what exactly it was but it had something to do with the type of Boeing 777, it's one of the few that prevents passengers from making phonecalls or having a connection whilst in the air.
  • If the plane crashed into the sea and they find some wreckage, it's most likely 100's of miles away from the original crash site.

Don't see any other scenario other than both pilots being responsible, just too much aviation experience is needed to do a job like this.

If the black box is useless, we will truly never know unless that plan landed on land somewhere.

I still think it was shot down.
