You acting like I said I never payed for xbl ever. I bought I think three months live back in april. I then had a free month. Still doesn't change the fact that its not really worth the price when other gaming options have the same features for free.(steam, psn,)

Video apps?? They're free to use everywhere else. Plus some of them need subscriptions.

My main problem with XBL is that you have to pay to use free apps. It's like paying to use facebook.

Party chat?? Ask ANYONE who is a huge Gears of war head how Gears 1 was fukking piff back in the days with mad people in the lobby trash talking and communicating among each other.

Now fast forward to party chat and current games and you don't really have that same feeling no more. Party chat everyone in their own little circle talking. Nobody ain't really talking to each other.

Nobody hardly plays Gears 3 anymore.

The main played XBL games are multiplatform.
BF3 on PS3 has earlier premium support.

I mean wtf is dudes paying XBL so happy about? I'll pay XBL to play Halo 4 when that drops and an occasional gears but I'm not bragging about something that should be free and people KNOW this.

XBL is not worth the price to pay.

People dogging PSN for it's occasional maintenance periods or something similar and yet you get the same P2P experience that people on XBL PAY for. There is no winning in paying for P2P.

When XBL next gen decides to put dedicated servers on every game out the box and needs paying I'll change my tune.

When PS3 gets HBOGo, NBA League Pass, and that ESPN3 app for free then you'll have a better argument as to why Live isn't worth the price.

That shyt alone makes Live worth 35 bucks for a year.

No it isn't.

If my live runs out I can't play online gaming. To you maybe you don't do that often but in a GAMERS state of mind that shyt is the most important feature.

All that extra video app is not game related. Xbox stans just stan video features under the umbrella of gaming online.

A true gamer doesn't care about shyt like that.

Maybe your a casual gamer who likes sports and video shyt.

I don't care much for sports and media streaming so I don't find that stuff appealing.

I just want to come home, turn my game on and hit play game and find a match.

I'm penalized and can't play online because M$ decided to rob nikkas of free online gaming because they want people to pay for their service?? Services where they can watch sports clips, videos and streaming movies(which are free on other devices) ???

Me.. A gamer, doesn't like that. Live is not expensive so $$ isn't the problem but it's the principal.

They should just make online gaming free and charge nikkas for streaming the premium video apps because it's basically forcing people to buy something and pay for shyt they don't need.

PSN is simply a better investment overall for me. I can play games free all day, and occasionally watch streaming videos through my subscription for THAT company.

It's like people paying $65 a month for cell phone bills and all they do is just talk on the phone. Your paying extra for unlimited data, 4G, and all this other bullshyt that everyone really probably doesn't even use.

Perfect example: I don't use commercial phone services. Instead of verizon I use pageplus I pay for what I need. $30 gets me enough minutes and text for a while and I don't care about data since I hardly need to browse the internet while outside.

Also PS+ gives you free games, discounts, free themes, avatars, full game trials and early access to beta's and content yet you crying about a discount???

Those are free on PSN, but the ESPN App, soon to be NBA League Pass, HBOGo aren't on PS3 and I haven't heard of them on there way either.

You not understanding how convenient it is to have those apps readily available on your TV tells me we're on different a spectrum when it comes to this.Convenience is really inconvenience. It's convenient to have apps ready to go on your console, but now it's inconvenient because muffukkas wanna charge to use free shyt. I'm strictly talking Netflix, hulu, youtube etc. There's no reason you have to have XBL GOLD to USE FREE NETFLIX AND HULU ETC POINT BLANK!

Instead of signing up for cable, I'll gladly sign up for XBox Live and off of the streaming services that are available to me. Yes I know I can hook my laptop up to my shyt, but I don't feel like it.
