Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
I have family members scared to visit Chicago but love going to the French Quarter twice a year. They don’t realize that NO (along with a lot of other cities) are worse than Chicago. Power of the media
:wow:

Media. Americans are so stupid at times. Most people love going to NO and most people mention Chicago crime as if they’re getting an Airbnb in the hood or something

The "Chi-Raq" shyt is anti Obama propaganda. I don't even like obama but the agenda is obvious. Let's talk about cities that actually need attention like Detroit or Patterson NJ.

Why does Patterson NJ need attention? Lol it will never get attention being a suburb of NYC lol.

No offense.

Same goes for Camden NJ being alongside Philly.

Detroit I can agree with. That city has over 1 million people at one point.

You're right but it still wouldn't be as bad as STL. There's a 4 mile stretch in STL that has averaged 20 murders a year. That's unheard of anywhere in this country.

Peep this:

Census tracts average about 4,000 residents each, and are useful for comparing like-size population areas. In a Guardian analysis of the more than 73,000 census tracts in the US, only 63, or 0.1%, had more than five fatal gun murder victims in 2015. Of those 63, eight are within St Louis city limits. That’s more than double the number in Chicago (four) and Baltimore (four) even though the Maryland city is home to twice the population, and about twice as many tracts.
That's interesting, data on Cleveland? There's a four-black radius where I know of at least 10 shootings with four fatal last year, and those were ones I knew about.

When I think of cities crack hit hardest I think NYC, MIA, DC, LA, Philly, Bay area, and ATL to some extend(via MIA). Ironically all of those cities/metros have been gentrified to hell.

Chicago, Detroit, and New Orleans have just been consistently violent throughout the decades and can't just be reduced down to crack. NO don't even mess with crack like that. They always been on smack.

Batlimore and St. Louis got hit the hardest by this 2010s opioid epidemic.

Chicago and Detroit and New Orleans gentrification has been weak compared to the cities you mentioned.

Well idk about New Orleans cause the locals there told me the city is expensive!

This city is NOT what it once was. I wont even speak on the HELL HOLES of South and West side hoods but I know UPTOWN used to CRACK with violence and drugs. :ld:
That's just the way it was. Move smart, and u will be fine. I wish the mods would merge all these Chicago threads :camby: It's frankly boring

Because extreme racism existed to put black people in the positions they were in escaping the south :francis:. You should misinformed as hell trying to pin this on welfare

And you sound misformed as hell not knowing that After 1865, Black people were the outperforming whites in every aspect of life from Job creation, businesses, marriage, education, etc etc

Till Welfare destroyed Black families and took the Black man out of the home. But I'm sure you rather Welfare instead of the Black man in the home
