Wonder how long it'll go.
It lasted 100 days last time and that ripple effect was vast. A lot of shows and movies suffered, shows had their seasons shortened or outright canceled.

All your anger needs to be directed at the studios for shortchanging the screenwriters. Please do not lose sight of that.

People are gonna make their jokes but this is a serious issue and it's much more than "writers wanna get paid more"

I just heard on a podcast that one of the writer's of The Bear on FX had to buy a bowtie for an awards show on credit and when a New Yorker writer asked him why he could only afford a bowtie on credit he showed him his bank account and he was in the negative.

This tweet that somebody posted above is a perfect example of it
