The whole point of that movie was that Mathilda's childhood was fukked up and ended way too soon. She basically was a grown up in a childs body, while Leon was a child in a grown ups body.
Her trying (or succeeding) to seduce Leon also points towards sexual abuse, or at least to the fact that she witnessed inappropriate sexual behavior, underlining her fukked up childhood even further.

the low end. southside chi
Watched this for the first time the other night.

The vibe was definitely there but Luc Besson actually wrote a part for it?

I'm glad they didn't put it in the film...if it worked in this film, other films would try it, one thing leads to another and #MeToo ends up looking like child's play (:hubie:)

You know these demons don't know how to act :iseeu:
theres a deleted scene on the dvd

it was all in the pictures. scene with her legs between the railing. it’s the messages that seem like reaching that are the most purposeful. nevermind the fact that natalie spends a good portion of the movie at a man’s knees if u consider the trajectory of a lot of the stills.

the most pivotal scene to me was the most unconvincing, when matilda is recalling what she saw after leon opens the door. her lines were rushed, and we were made to see her family as merely a plot device (except when she got slapped, that shyt hurt me thru the screen:mjcry:). but ultimately it made the whole movie feel like someone’s imagination going off the rails after making eye contact for a few seconds with a stranger.

the russian roulette scene tho:picard:prob the best scene i’ve ever seen in cinema, or at least an action flick :ohhh:

how does one get they soul took like that?:gucci:remember what pac said about bytches being responsible for nikka’s funerals? that scene justified it. leon was not ready to die until he met her :wow:

I love that movie, but I don't think I can watch it again after seeing this :scust:

Plus, wasn't the producer fukking some little girl too? I remember something about someone high up having a 14 year old girlfriend on set or something like that.

yeah she was 15, iirc. On his behalf, the age of consent in France is 15 so it wasn't illegal
