I remember I dated a French woman that loved this film. In fact, I never saw/heard of it until she told me about it. Needless to say, she told me about all that business between Leon and Mathilda before I had seen it.

Always made the movie weird to me knowing that fact. I understand why people consider it good cinema but the stories behind all that shyt make it a little sickening

i always wanted to watch this film and i just did very recently. i can see why it is a cult classic. however, i did not see this thread at all. yes, the movie can be 'weird' but if you like the film 'die hard' then you will enjoy it. just don't have a creepy perverted attitude while watching this film. this thread is mad suspect too
