fukking white people and casual fans:dead:

Knicks told that nikka to find a contract and that shyt backfired on them. Also, Rockets were the ONLY ONE who offered him a contract. Supposedly, Knicks vets told him not to play in playoffs too. Lin overrated but the money he makes off the court would've cover the luxury tax

The article goes in depth what went down

can we blame for Dolan for not matching that stupid contract?...

nobody blaming him for not matching a high contract, the issue is...he coulda got Lin for a small amount. Lin wasnt going to test the market....they put him out there while they pursued other PGs not expecting him to get any crazy offers.

Bottom line, Knicks didn't make it a priority to resign him and actively looked for other PGs from the jump. Now no matter what he says Lin would have chosen Houston offering 3 and 25 over NY offering 3 and 15, but it never even came to that. Knicks were ready to move on - someone made that decision early

So you would have went into the season with Lin as the only PG on the roster coming off of an injury no less. :what: Did you miss Baron Davis' knee doing it's best Hindenberg impersonation in the playoffs? You missed the part in the article where it says they told him they were courting other PGs to join him? The fact that the organization was transparent with Lin and his agents about that shows they weren't doing him dirty. After Houston's initial offer but before the revised offer there were rumors Lin was unhappy the Knicks didn't make him an offer first. Everyone agreed it was good business to let an undefined commodity like Lin assess his market value instead of just throwing money at him. But now that Lin left the story switches, right? Refer to my post about the Knicks being wrong even when they're right.

And it doesn't strike anyone as odd that there's not even a line saying Knicks officials couldn't be reached for comment in the whole article? Clearly the article isn't even pretending to be presenting both sides of the story. All of the quotes are Lin's or Lin's account of what someone from the Knicks said.

Letting a player like Lin wind up in free agency is never wise. There's always a team willing to go nuts. The difference is that the Knicks weren't willing to be more nuts than anyone else even though they claimed they'd match anything.

But they had to wait to try and get his bird rights do they could match any offer . I get what your saying but why go back to get that 4 mil ? And he's a liar this is the exact same thing that report last week said that was saying he was unhappy . He said it probably wasn't true note the probably

Lin agent fukked up if he wanted to be here. The knicks made it there priority by going to the arbitrator to get his bird rights .
Kidd was signed to be his backup and help him learn since Kidd was his role model any Kidd said he's lins backup and looked forward to it .

His feelings got hurt he then wanted the knicks to up the offer to make him feel better that's why that report leaked out ( which he denied yet says pretty much what he just said ) why did he renegotiate with the rockets that's what I wanted to Hear

They didn't offer him a deal. :yeshrug:

Yes because they were being fair and let him dictate his market value. He tries to use the argument because he hadn't actually presented the offer sheet to the Knicks he went and added more money cool but he pissed off dolan by trying to be greedy . for those few mil he turned down 7 figure endorsement deals to make more money with lucrative deals once he reupped. He lost mils too and the city he wanted to be in :beli:But hey he has no tax that's something .
