The Knicks tried to bring in Nash but landed Jason Kidd a HOF PG to tutor him.

The moment Lin trademarked Linsanity, you knew he was all about the $$$$
Didn't play in the playoffs because he knew it would hurt his FA stock.
Lin is was moving like someone that is insecure and unsure about his abilities as an NBA player, and thus moved to get his only pay day.

Exactly he says it's not about money but then why go back to renegotiate the offer sheet ? Make your money but don't act like its not about that
