Well, I was watching an interview of Dr. Ivan Van Sertima. He mentions them. I began researching online reading little tidbits from whatever source I could find. I'm starting to find more tangible journals and a few books on Amazon to purchase.are you reading a book or various internet sites?

What do you mean by White Slavery? The reason that the Dogon retreated to the mountains in the first place was to evade slave trading tribes that were selling the Dogon to the Europeans and Arabs.
The Dogon are very well known. The White man is just trying to figure out how the Dogon know what they know. The Dogon seem to know a lot about a lot of stuff and western scientists can not figure out how the Dogon know it. The Dogon even knew about DNA. This is before anyone else even knew about DNA. The scientist didn't learn for decades what the pictures were that the Dogon were drawing. It was strands of DNA. The Dogon also knew about the creation of matter.

You are right, they escaped conquest by hiding the jungle and mountains.
When I say white slavery I mean European or Arabian conquest, they successfully avoided it because they built most of their communities against large mountains for protection.

So far I am only finding books on their religion. Most of their history and beliefs are passed down through elders. This thread I was literally live posting as I was finding out about them.
There are lots of books on the Dogon. Just Google "books on the Dogon Tribe."
Btw, I am always cynical of White people and there reasons for studying the Dogon, Yoruba, Kongo, etc. For centuries White people were so sure that Black people were savages and had no history; now White people are absolutely floored about what the customs and cultures actually represent, which is way more advanced than their own White cultures. That means that White people will now appropriate the customs and cultures for themselves just like they are always trying to appropriate Egypt for the Greeks, Romans and smelly Arabs. Just like White people have appropriated the Bible and monotheism.
