Germanic and Romance are totally different branches within the Indo-European language family.
He was being pseudo as hell

Another thing, Creole languages are not “dialects” either.
Jamaican, Haitian, Surinamese, Cuban, Curaçaoan, Louisiana etc

People often see Creole languages are *insert European-based* and think the Creole languages are “dialects of their colonial language” which isn’t true.

The foundation of Creole languages are clearly West-African.
This is because the Ancestors who created those Creoles were West-African people who already spoke their own languages that learned colonial European.
So the West-African foundation are deeply rooted in those Creole languages.

Some Creole languages simply retained more African words than others because of each individual history.
