Tatum is under fukkin rated, he got the smoothest game ive ever seen from a rookie since rookie melo, but jayson is way smoother. That jumper, the defense and the way he always gets to the rim so smooth and than end up elevating and yammin on some nikka:ohlawd:

At this point, he's overrated IMO. While he's likely a future all-star, next year should be the tale of the tape because the Celtics will be healthy and will be the favorites out of the East, so they should get everyone's best shot plus they would have to manage guys' desire to assert themselves as they develop.

This upcoming season is where Tatum could generate authentic hype. As of now, he's still just potential to me.

Simmons is a rich mans Rondo with PF height. He has a much higher ceiling than Tatum. I could see Tatum being a better Paul Pierce

Pierce is a hall of famer
:gucci:

So if Tatum is a better version of PP in your eyes then he's on his way to being a top 35 player all time..

Top 75...But if Ben hits his peak he could end up a top 30 player of all time.

I knew what you meant, i was just being a dikk.

I think Tatum maxes out at like 25, 7, and 4 with 2nd team all NBA type D. Not sure about Ben
Ben will max out 22 10 and 10 with first time all nba D. He’s grant Hill with defense and better facilitating.

Philly bouls, Trust the Process
He scored 1 point in 31 mins of play in a playoff game with at worse the 2nd highest usage rate on his team.....why r u so arrogant in yo assertion?
Simmons had 1/7/5 in one game against the best defense in the NBA that game planned for him sure, that totally erases 18/10.6/9/2.4 in your first playoff series against a good Heat defense that focused totally on him for the series :usure:

Yet we're quick to forget that Tatum had 4/3/7 in 30 minutes on 2/9 shooting against a below average Bucks defense and that Mitchell had 10/3/1 on 4/16 shooting in 31 minutes, and only got 10 points because he scored 8 when they were already down 30 points with 35 seconds left in the 3rd - he should've really put up 2/3/1 which is probably the worst game of all that no one even talks about.

These guys are all rookies. They have flaws, they have bad games. The body of work Simmons presented in his rookie year alone was incredible, one bad game shouldn't change that.

Simmons is overrated as shyt. Every coach sees that. Any 6'8 guard could do what he's doing and better because they have a jumpshot.

Nikkas acting like Tatum aint a generational talent either. How many rookie wings came in at 19 and took over for a championship contender in the playoffs? That 3 spot is the hardest position in the L to play and guard and he excelled at both.

When was the ladt time we seen a kid with his size and skill set do what he did at 19?
Horford is their best player and Horford is the reason for their success. Not Tatum. Tatum getting overrated and it's silly. I can't wait till Kyrie and Gordon are back so we don't have to hear about this overhyped guard and I like duke, he played for Duke but man, he is getting overrated on here.

People really getting gassed off two playoff series :what:
Tatum is somehow becoming overrated.
Let's see what he does next year now that expectations are up, he'll have reduced minutes so maybe he won't hit a wall again this season

Now and in the future, who would you want to have the ball in the last 5 minutes of playoff series?

I keep seeing "generstional" talent attached to Simmons, wtf does that even mean? Some fat writer attached that to his name and now he's untradeable?:mjlol:
