He scored 1 point in 31 mins of play in a playoff game with at worse the 2nd highest usage rate on his team.....why r u so arrogant in yo assertion?

I'm capable of looking beyond the scope of one or two games and looking at their skill-sets and total output in both their seasons and it's pretty clear. If I was a reactionary casual sure I'd look at that one game/series and take a hard-line stance one way or the other. I'm not hence my arrogance. By all means continue to use that game as the barometer of their careers going forward I'm sure it will stop the mass amount of future individual accolades coming Ben's way

That game(series) was just affirmation......I was never sold to begin with. He's a 6'10 pg and that has yall mystified, blind to the fact that he's no different than say, Mark Jackson, in terms of skillset. His success will always be predicated on the situation being right (ie. Teammates that can score for him)

Him being 6'10 didn't have me mystified at all, the way he scored at the rim, defended 1-5, and ran the offense had me mystified. I've been on the record plenty of times making comments that clearly indicate my frustration of Ben at many times during the season. Having said that I don't think this player comparison is very close at all. It's nice and cute to compare young players like this but realistically there really isn't a comparison.

No he won’t

Only thing Simmons can do better is create shots for others

Tatum is litrerally better at everything else And only gonna get better

Problem is Simmons is a generational talent tatum no matter what isn’t and won’t be. But that’s not to say he can’t and won’t potentially have a hall of fame career I just think that Simmons has higher topside potential...But its up to the players to actually reach it. And hopefully injuries and off the court issues don’t derail them.

I mean people keep saying that about a player that can score off his own shot away from the rim

Tatum is a better defense, shooter, shot created, basketball iq

Ben is a better playmaker and that’s it. So right now he’s a tall ass rondo without the smarts. The Celtics will son the 76ers a long time until Ben gets a shot, and right now he ain’t even attempting to shoot the ball so who knows when that will be. Not to mention him and fultz can’t be on the court together makes last year’s draft fukking stupid

Nikkas acting like Tatum aint a generational talent either. How many rookie wings came in at 19 and took over for a championship contender in the playoffs? That 3 spot is the hardest position in the L to play and guard and he excelled at both.

When was the ladt time we seen a kid with his size and skill set do what he did at 19?
