According to @Professor Emeritus he was on a HOF track before the atl series

Make a list of all the players who had 3 All-Star appearances and an All-NBA selection before the age of 24. Then tell me what % of them made the Hall of Fame. Outside of career-defining injuries, you're gonna be talking about 80-90% of them in the Hall. That's without even mentioning the Rookie of the Year, twice 1st-team All-Defensive, and finishing 2nd and 4th in DPOY voting.....all in his first 4 seasons.

I say keep Simons... His skill set for his size is special.. Tatum is a special player but u can find other good wings buy how many 6'10 PG out there??

And he can develop his shot which he has been working on

Worse part is... He can shoot....he just WONT shoot... Dude really fleeced everyone....including himself
Yeah I BEEN telling ppl he was never gonna become a willing shooter…if it was really between Simmons/Harris/Brett Brown and Jimmy Butler we should’ve chose Butler.

Now all of em gone and we’re treading water.

His shooting motion is legitimately fukked up and is not ideal for game situations. That being said, he probably could have still been a capable spot-up shooter with the cushions they were giving him if the mental factor wasn't there.

How? Don’t be disingenuous. I even said unless the dude has injury issues or whatever. The cat clearly was very talented. But he damn sure is grifting the NBA. He’s in a contract year this year yes I believe he will be productive and healthy this season.
