Technically that place is the coldest in winter, meaning that on top of disastrous temperatures you're dealing with long endless nights, snowing and hardly any sun. F that. Probably have to wait for the end of the winter to even get out of there or some similar bs.

Give me the heat, I'd rather be sweating in shorts than freezing with 5 jackets on...indoors :dead:

I guarantee most of you haven't felt -30 degrees celsius weather before.

Let's add the windchill and it feels like -40.

I remember during a bus strike having to walk to school my eye lashes would freeze.

But you're all talking about living in the coldest place on earth.

At least in cold conditions there's steps you can take to help like extra layers, goggles etc. The fukk can you do in the hottest area on earth except sweat your balls off and hope to die?

Heat makes me tired, angry and I lose my appetite. Plus its more difficult to hide from the heat.

Cold weather is easier to manage. Moving, eating, basically doing contributes to fighting the cold. That's my exact opposite experience in the heat.

Coldest. Yakutia actually isn't that cold all year round, the winters are just brutal

It doesn't get warm per se' but it can get into the 70's...Which is comfortable.

Go get you a Yakut or Sakha woman to keep you warm in the winter :mjlit:
