Would you rather have life in prison or death?

Death is so terribly final, while life…is full of possibilities.

I’d at least try life in prison. Who knows what’ll happen. If it truly is unbearable with no redeemable qualities in my life, I can always off myself.

This is my logic.

-If you mean the people who'd choose life are somehow mentally tougher that's not really true. Some people are just terrified of Death & that doesn't make them tougher by any means. For some people it isn't about the inability to adapt or the fear of the environment, etc. It's just seeing no reason to delay the inevitable for life in incarceration.
