Well he did bring in the highest Mania buyrate ever and got all the other people in a scripted sport a higher paycheck.

But it's like you guys are acting like these Mania's before the Rock have been classics of in-ring prowess or something. Most of the main events have sucked except like two HBK matches and some MITBs.

Cena's had duds, Punk's had duds, etc. Now currently they have some great talent on the roster in The Shield, D Bry, Cesaro and them but they are not ready to sell out a Mania. So all this "I'd rather see" stuff just seems spiteful. If you just wanna see workers go I'm sure Dragon Gate and ROH will put on some great stuff that weekend but Mania isn't fully in that lane.

Or else those other main event guys I mentioned would have Mania classics out the ass but they don't.

For $60, I'll take the legend who has given me more Mania memories than pretty much the combined active roster.

he was apart of the highest grossing mania...cena main evented the two highest grossing manias...so thats no excuse

cena has had solid matches with edge/big show and hbk at mania. Punk too with jericho and orton. Meanwhile d-bry is opening to 18 second squashes so dj can get extra promo time and headlock breaks. its wack breh.

only good coming is dj laying down for one of the greatest of all time and giving that new belt to the man thats carried the wwe longer then him

Solid matches :laugh: The way TSC's been talking you'd think everyone was bringing down the house when Rock wasn't there.

And I know you're not giving Cena full credit for 28 or 23 when Rock, Trump ,Austin, and Vince were draws on that card also. They went without those guys for a year and did like 800k worldwide :laugh:

Regarding the topic at hand. I don't care for Rocky being in the main event for a couple of months. What I do care and what pisses me off is WWE doing everything in their power to undermine the rest of the roster and giving them NO CHANCE to do anything noteworthy. The destruction of the midcard and uppermidcard just so they don't outperform the maineventers is sickening. They have such a talented group of guys and they make sure to give them as little possibilities as possible to get over or stand out.

Couldn't agree more, you can tell Vince is in the "fukk it, we got Rock/Cena II who gives a fukk about the rest of the show" mode.

I remember they did this shyt with Survivor Series 2011, where he knew he had The Rock coming back so why even give a fukk.
