Nah. Prohibiting the purchase of health insurance is a huge red flag. Doing my current role isn’t worth $1M/yr for anyone. I’m not signing up to be the butt of some billionaire’s game :hubie:

The million dollars is a nice cushion against having no health insurance

Because let's be real......no insurance company is covering a million bucks or even half that for whatever happens to you in the event that you require it

I’ve been on call 7 days a week for way less money and I’ve spent most my life working for myself and had long periods without health insurance so sure why not. The world is upside down at this point anyways so why not shake it up even more for a million a year. Can I atleast pay out of pocket for health services if needed?

The Truth
I work with the vulnerable sector

so

Hell

no
Exactly

Thats why I said Emergencies.

I’m always down to come in for important shyt.

If I’m on call 24/7 for every little thing then no. Done that before and was getting abused by it. Barely had ANY time off even remotely.

fukk no… maybe for a couple years if the salary is a milly but nah. My cousin in a position like that now and he burnt out. nikka was at a wedding with an earpiece in going to meetings…

But that salary though. I’m a Vet so everything else covered

No.

I'm not being on call for anyone that's not my wife or my son's.

Peace of mind is way more important to me. I've seen people's lives turned upside down being on call.

Outside of being on call 24/7/365, it's a resounding yes.
